"The creative dream" is the title of the exhibition presented by fernando Alday at the Anquin's Art Gallery and refers to the essay of the Spanish thinker and philosopher María Zambrano (1904 - 1991). Deep essay on the poetic reasons and the timelessness of dreams that has been inspiring for the artist. Fernando Alday delves into dreamlike landscapes with which he builds fragments of past dreams.
Forests and animals with a strong symbolic burden are the predominant theme of the exhibition. Like the cautious deer, with its sudden appearances and agile disappearances among the woods in search of initiatory paths. An animal that is linked with the transforming essence.
Although Fernando Alday lives in the middle of the city, the forests always belonged to his childhood. In this exhibition recreates those memories that appear as dreamlike images, as the same dream that represents the memories that remain asleep in the unconscious.
