Well known fashion designer, Lydia Delgado shows us her artistic drawing side with her works on paper.
The “ Iconic Girls” of Lydia has an inocent and ironic air at the same time.
These drawings show the spontaneity of the line, the elegance of the forms, the composition and the color armony, and reflect the imagination and creativity of the artista.
“ Drawing let me be free”. Lydia Delgado
Collins photographs can be experienced as an image and as a kind of architecture, as a two-dimensional surface and as sculpture, and at the same time reveal the artist’s interest in the archaeology of urban space, showing how the built environment bares the traces of the past and the intimations of a future. Juxtaposed with her photographs of buildings and cityscapes, there is an ongoing engagement with the still life and the beauty and interconnected-ness of organic things. Her subject-matter in this exhibition is the city. The artist shows views of differents cities of her serie “ True Stories”.
Presentem escultures de Tomás Saraceno y fotografíes de Hannah Collins..
