The exhibition has been slow to born –It’s been more than five years that we started to talk about it, but the things of life and trade have made us wait until today. The time it dilates, but permit us to think and improve our idea. Marta says:
Here I try to slow down the rhythm, stop definitely to understand a visual poem that use to get out of our hands. Try to understand the past with the persistent materials… so God give us the power to make roses grow in December. I’m trying to find that line that holds you between heaven and earth in where there is the knowledge.
So in this exhibition it converges as a dialogue the differences between the artwork of three different artists, a reflection about three, about what our hands make day by day as it says Rebeca:
I seek the words and find my hands. Hard to explain the bell sound of a stone or that of the hammer on the anvil. How to express the touch of mud in my hands or the smell of coal in the forge.
The materials are different; they impose the techniques and offer a wide range of possibilities. The styles are different, but the three of them have in common, that are not ideologues of art.
