Tuike Souza: Reciprocidad - Reflejo del otro

This winter, he began to classify the colours present in his daily life. On his steps down the street and subway rides, he realized that few people dressed in colourful clothing and that a sea of black coats surrounded him. The few colours that stood out, ephemeral blooms caused a regression to a world of affective ties (that of his native Brazil). It is his interpretation as an individual of a spectrum of light reflected by this environment.

Among so many stimuli that could have attracted his attention, for what reason did this one reach him? It was the appropriation of colour as a subjective element to be analyzed, something that goes along with the linear figurative representation always present in his production as a visual artist.

He works with the idea of interference of the environment in the personality of the individual and is seen as a sum of these, within this content it is loaded with the colours that are added and reflected in the moment that he is experiencing it.

In the same way that colours interfere with each other, coexistence and relationship within a group of people is the result of this fusion of references and personal stories. "Reciprocity - Reflection of the other" is the analysis where the analogy of optical, chromatic and visual reading is presented as the main theme as a synthesis to poetically represent the relationship between individuals.
