La Fundació Antigues Caixes Catalanes y el Gremi de Galeries d’Art de Catalunya firman un convenio d

The Foundation of Former Catalan Banks (FACC) and the Labor of Art Galleries of Catalunya (GGAC), have signed a collaboration agreement to announce the 16th edition of the BBVA Ricard Cami Awards between the artists through the art galleries.

This award is one of the nine awards that organizes the FACC with the support of the BBVA CX and has the goal to stimulate the pictorial creation and to promote the catalan artists or the one’s that live in Catalunya.

The award, biennial, has been announced this month of April and it’s supplied by 12.000 euros to the winning artists and 8.000 euros allocated to the promotion and projection of the artist’s work through an individual exhibition at the Cultural Center of Terrassa.

The GGAC it’s a non-profit institution created in 1978 with the purpose to defend the art galleries and to approach them to the public. Nowadays, promotes and defends the art galleries all over the catalan territory.
Also it has the goal to create new relations with foundations, collectors, public and private institutions, museums, universities, art centers, schools, media, to help introduce the arts in the youngest generations.

The two entities, FACC and GGAC join the BBVA Painting Ricard Cami Award to help the projection of young artists.
